College List

We work closely with our students to understand their goals and interests, and then assist them in compiling a balanced college list. Our emphasis is on finding the right fit for our students.  Factors such as academic interests and programs, location, social life and athletic opportunities are considered in the process. We provide guidance to parents and students with scholarship and financial aid applications, and research colleges that provide the appropriate amount of aid.

Application Assistance

The application process can be complex; we aim to keep our students organized and motivated during the process. We facilitate all aspects of the application, while keeping our students on track and working to help them put their best foot forward. This includes compiling activity resumes and athletic resumes, if required. We methodically guide students to on-time submission for each college on their lists.

Essays

From brainstorming ideas to editing drafts, we help our students find their voice and tell their stories. Essays are often considered the most dreaded part of the application, but the process can be fun and rewarding. We assist with all the essays required for applications, including supplement and scholarship essays.

Extracurricular Activities

We make suggestions for enrichment activities that match our student’s interests. These include summer opportunities, community service projects, and extracurricular activities.

Understanding Financial Aid Options

Most students will apply for financial aid, a necessary process to maximize options for both private and public colleges and universities. We help students and parents understand the process, various types of aid, and the potential for receiving financial aid.

Fee Structure

Hourly: We offer services on an hourly basis for students looking for targeted support throughout the application process.
Packages: Our comprehensive advising package is available for a flat fee. This package includes all of the services listed above, with unlimited emails, phone calls and additional in-person meetings throughout the 12 to 18-month long process. This approach offers flexibility and continuity.
